In a significant diplomatic tone shift, Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian has stated that the Islamic Republic does not seek to escalate conflict. Speaking during an official visit to the Ministry of Science, Research and Technology, he emphasized that continued confrontation serves no nation’s interest.
He highlighted that prolonged conflict only leads to destruction and instability, urging instead for dialogue, understanding, and regional coordination.
Pezeshkian’s remarks are being interpreted by global analysts as a calibrated message suggesting Iran’s willingness to engage diplomatically, particularly at a time when pressure on the region has increased due to geopolitical tensions.
